This training session will showcase how agencies are implementing climate considerations in resilience planning efforts. It will focus on how climate adaptation and mitigation are integrated within resilience plans, including installation energy and water plans, project prioritization and execution to produce more resilient agencies and organizations. Subject matter experts will also show how compatible, climate considerate energy and water resilience solutions are identified at installations by providing examples of transformational resilience programs and projects.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this session attendees will:
- Identify how projected climate change impacts will affect mission assurance;
- Recognize how agencies are integrating climate considerations into energy assurance planning and execution, while meeting established national climate policies and standards;
- Identify how Executive Order 14008: Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad clearly establishes climate considerations as an essential element of U.S. foreign policy and national security; and
- Identify how the development of emission reduction targets including, a carbon pollution-free power sector by 2035, is putting the agencies across the United States on a path to a net-zero economy by 2050.
