This training session will discuss the potential for using performance contracting to procure electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). Subject matter experts will address unique installation requirements for combinations of acquisition pathways that leverage state, community, and utility partnerships. This session will also include presentations regarding acquisition selection methods based on future scalability to meet current and long-term zero-emission vehicle needs, economic and budgetary impacts, and the requirements and standards for EVSE technology.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this session attendees will:
- Recognize fleet electrification mandates according to Executive Order 14057;
- Identify tools, resources, and capabilities of utilities for infrastructure changes international organization for standardization (ISO) fleet electrification including acquisition pathways outside performance contracts;
- Identify EVSE acquisition and ownership models (COCO, GOCO, GOGO); and
- Recognize the basic EVSE components and related terms and definitions, including make-ready, EVSE charging stations, operations and maintenance (O&M), and resilience.
