FEMP is helping agencies understand how to meet decarbonization goals with grid interactive efficient buildings (GEB). This training will provide attendees with an introduction to GEB, how to work with utilities, and opportunities for federal sites.

The Executive Order (EO) 14057: Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainability represents a paradigm shift in leadership support of asset management and project development. Addressing existing facilities will be critical to achieving a net-zero portfolio and require a top-down approach supported by bottom-up solutions. Leadership buy-in will be a vital element to success in support of asset management and project development.
